The Army Cadet Force will utilise the Club for an adventurous training week
2 Star paddle Group from Caythorpe PGL will access the lake to expand experience of large water paddling
Welcome buffet for Club members and a prize draw for a Desperate Measure Voucher. Have to be present to win it! Chance to say hello to the Committee, discuss your paddling development and trip to moving water.
The July trip will be to North Wales and there will be a club led trip on both days.
Leaders will be Dave G and Neil and if anyone wishes to stay on the same campsite
as them, details will be posted on the club Facebook site. You can then make your
own booking with the site, which will probably be in Bala. Alternatively, you can
stay anywhere you want or drive up on the day and meet at the put-in. This will be a
relaxed weekend and a good opportunity to socialise with other members. Look out

Paddling the River Spey from Aviemore to Spay Bay over 4 days with three nights of Wild Camping. This a ‘Classic’ river trip to add to your Log-Book.
As part of Go Canoeing Week, British Canoeing are challenging everyone to get out and paddle and record the miles. They hope to record 30,000 miles and raise funds for Cancer Research. Want to get involved go to the Go Canoeing Big Adventure website
It will take place over two weekends. With paddling opportunities during the week in between.

The Club will have a stand at the Nottinghamshire Show, being held at the Newark Show Ground, to promote canoeing and to promote the Club Open Weekend to potential new members.
